Last day in PJ =[

Its my last day in pjc and I skipped both chinese and gsc lessons =P But i'm not going to take gsc after JAE, so that's ok. After that, Sharon, yiwen, Cassandra, Xin yi and I went for Suki Sushi buffet lunch.. We ate, and ate, and ate..until the look of food totally began to turn us out, but even so, we continued eating just to make sure that we ate back our money's worth of sushi. haha. It WAS pretty dumb, i must admit. And because of that meal, all of us went broke and didn't have money to take neoprints =( . Then we went home all bloated up, and vowed never to eat buffets any more. When I got home, I opened the "love letter" Xin yi had given me and found out that Xin yi had actually bought me the you-dunno-wad that I've wanted!!! I was SO surprised!! Thanks very much, XY!! I'll treasure it for the rest of my life..haha...

P.S. XY! Dun tell them wad it is, or they'll all be jealous =D This is how much we ate..and how much we paid...

I watched Norbit!! Finally. A lot of scenes were so funny..haha. Its NC16, but there are no sexual scenes though, there were only some sexual sounds -.- LOL. Not that I want to watch obsene stuff, but why make it NC16 if it were only sounds? This created quite some trouble for Xin yi, cassandra and me. Since Xin yi forgot to bring her EZ link card, the girl at the counter refused to sell us tickets, and she told us that there'll be people checking our cards again when we enter the theatre. So....we thought of ways, and luckily I met some of my ex classmates at Jurong point, that really helped. And the people didn't look too closely at our photos..heheh.Case Closed. Moral of the story - It doesn't pay to be too forgetful...

A: 4 whole faculties. One faculty to design the new bulb, one faculty to test it out, one faculty to market it and one guy to write a stupid E-mail about light bulbs.

Q: How many HCJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: The whole school. To compete with RJC.

Q: How many VJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: The whole school. One student to screw it in and the rest to cheer and wave flags and banners to give him/her support.

Q: How many NJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They can study without light.

Q: How many AJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: They're too busy trying to be one of the top 5 JCs.

Q: How many ACJC students does it take to change light bulb??
A: None. They'd use all their money to employ YJC to do it for them.

Q: How many YJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Only one teacher to tell them what a light bulb is in the first place and to demonstrate (how do you think they're able to change it for ACJC?)

Q: How many CJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: They'd prefer it darker. *raises eyebrows*

Q: How many JJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Their physics is so bad that they make the male teacher cry.

Q: How many TPJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: They wouldn't bother.

Q: How many SAJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They believe in praying for it.

Q: How many NYJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. They are still using oil lamps.

Q: How many SRJC students does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Huh, what litebarbu...

A: TJC!

A: None. They think they are very bright already.

A: Fuck the light bulb lah, the principal will do something about right barbs. Let's do 300 jumping jacks for not wearing the proper school attire.

Haha..I think this is so true..especially the last part =P . Actually I like TJC and I almost chose the school as my first choice, but then its in bedok =[ so sad..and i had to choose to AC instead...

Ok, no more jukebox!! That's what I've decided, after one whole evening of trying things out [which ended up in a huge BLOG-DISASTER]. Anyway..I can't believe I'm actually leaving pjc, now that i've had so much fun here. I'm really going to miss this!!! But our future is the more important thing isn't it?? Right, what is done can't be changed, I shall not think about this any more..but I WILL [ i hope i will] enjoy my last week's stay in pj...

Till date, my ang pow money is still double digit =[ i tink its my poorest record ever.. Sigh..can teachers also be a little more sympathetic? I know we're already slacking through some lessons, but giving tests during these 15 days is so unacceptable. Or maybe we should really start counting down now...20 months and 13 days to A levels...

Its the first day of chinese new year! But i'm stuck at home typing this on my com..how pathetic can this brand new year get?? I'm really not very high on this special day, mainly because nobody invited me to their house =[ I can't believe it..every year I would go to at least one family to "celebrate", but this year, it seems like nobody will organise any party if my parents do not invite them over first. However, this is definitely not my parents' fault! Nevermind, i guess chilling out at home isn't too bad after all...

Its valentine's day..again. But i did something great today, guess what?? I Donated Blood!!! Can you believe it? I actually plucked up all my courage [and that took about 4 days] to help needy patients :) I'm so proud of myself now. Right after I donate blood, I didn't even dare bend my elbow, and my helpful friend, YW, volunteered to be my FOC maid of the day! Yes, she actually VOLUNTEERED! bless her =] I guess this will be my most meaningful valentine's day, ever...

tommorrow is the release of o level results!!!!!! I can't believe i've actually lived long enough to witness this. For the past few days i wished that the results were released earlier, so that i won't have to keep worrying about it. Till now, i've not been really nervous, but i guess i'll be super nervous the moment i woke up tommorrow. it always happens this way...

PE teacher: You'll run out of the school, along the canal, until the bridge...[blah blah blah]..the total distance will be about 3 km.

Can you believe it?? Its the first day of lessons and we have to run 3 km! When i heard this i seriously felt like vomiting.

Its the last day of 2006 and its quite sad. 2006 has been a great year for me mainly because its the last year of my secondary school life. A few days later, i would become a freshmen again, just like 4 years ago. Time really zooms..before you know it, you'll be taking your A levels already. Do you have any idea how to make time slow down a bit? This speed is making me nauseous...

Ok, now for new year resolutions..the only one that i can think of now is to exercise more[to get my six pacs]. Its not easy to abide by this one, but i'll try...so happy new year to you and hope that your resolutions can be strictly followed in 2007.

China Airlines was not bad, at least they provide movies, games and music for their passengers. During the 4 hr 5 min trip to Taipei, i watched Superman Returns on the plane. Heheh.. But the movie was more than 2 hrs and i was too tired to watch anything after that, so i listened to Jay chou's album for the rest of the journey...

when i first saw the tour guide, i thought he was a geek. Are tour guides supposed to wear suits?? anyway, it was already evening. The rainy weather had spoiled out shopping trip to 西门町，so we decided to just buy some snacks from a supermarket called "ok store" and go to our hotel.

The next few days were cramped with activity. We visited night markets, places of interest that has good scenery , temples...etc. It was quite fun, much more fun than in singapore anyway. The night markets there are quite different from the ones in singapore, not only are they more crowded, the people are mostly teenagers.

Few elderly and small kids can be seen. Most importantly, the food is much nicer and there are lots of varities.

We travelled around the island in 7 days, and stayed in a different hotel every night. I must say that the hotels are pretty cool, one of them really looks like a palace...

There was also this "changing shift" ceremony for the soldiers. They actually practices this twice a day. During this ceremony, they twirl their guns and did some cool stunts..it was impressive.

One of the nicest shots i made was this one. Its actually king kong sitting in the middle, did u see it? It was really nice of him to pose for my camera.

Chicken surprise

A couple go to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Feeling adventurous, they order the "Chicken Surprise". The waiter brings the meal, served in a lidded cast-iron pot. Just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises slightly and she spots two beady little eyes looking around. Before she can scream, the lid slams back down.

"Did you see that?" she asks her husband in a shaky voice."See what?" he asks.So she asks him to look in the pot. He reaches for it and again the lid rises, and this time he sees the two little eyes looking around before it slams back down.

Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, tells what is happening, and demands an explanation. The waiter asks what they had ordered. The husband says, "Chicken Surprise.""Ah, so sorry," says the waiter. "I bring you Peeking Duck."
